the cure to everything is water - sweat, tears or the sea.

Siem Reap - Angkor Wat "Out of the brightest tree the moon became the morning sun,
And there again reflected on the dreams of everyone.
Out of the starlight night the telling of all our lives,
And racing faster than the Northwestern World.
Starpoint to signal our endlessness
Starpoint to signal this evermore
Starpoint to compass: We look to the North
To return to the centre: Angkor Wat."
Cambodian Poem

steps at the Qutub Minar, New Delhi surpassing materialism
one of my fave bikini is givin way. not because i'm growin out of it but 'cause it's elasticity has seen better days and decided to turn stiff like a hardened lizard (not flat and stinky though) trapped between the hinges. alright, i'm sure you get the picture.
it's the same bikini i wore to frolick in the waters of pulau redang for the first time and it was the bright orangey-red color that caught the attention of the 'mad' malay traveller on that fine idyllic sandy beach which led on to some sorta indecent proposal which is a long story for another day.

so that mornin in siem reap when i couldn't decide if i'd leave the old bikini behind, it's life flashes before me. i remembered the time i bought it, where i bought it, who i bought it with, where i've wore it to and even who i bought it from! one thing led to another and now it's back home here in my laundry bag. i wonder if i'll ever throw it away and if i'll have a harder time when i've to throw out any of my ballerina flats 'cause they've scaled the elephanta caves, seen the taj, roamed the angkor, strolled the beaches of the great ocean road with me...
